Can Fire Terminator put out a lithium battery fire?
The Fire Terminator solution can put out a lithium battery fire. Depending on the size of the battery (mobile phone battery, portable phone battery, electric scooter battery), you may need more than one spray for a larger battery. Beware that larger lithium battery fires can be very powerful so if the fire is larger, it is better to seek safety than to stay close to a large lithium battery fire.

What happens if my spray can is damaged?
While this shouldn’t pose an issue, it is better to be safe than sorry, we recommend replacing any spray cans that have been damaged just to be extra safe.
How can the cans be disposed of?
A. Whether the cans are empty or partially full, or even full, they can be disposed with normal methods. As there are no toxic chemicals in the can, the contents are biodegradable and dissolve in water. With the exception of the plastic cap and nozzle, the metal can itself can be recycled.

Yes, once the can is used or opened for testing, you can still use the spray can at a later period. Although for safety reasons, we do recommend you keep full spray cans ready as you never know how big a fire you may encounter.

We have tested the spray can by putting a blowtorch to the side of the can. The can splits open without fragmenting, nor does it explode.

Is the solution in the spray can safe to touch?
The solution in the can is organic and non-toxic but should only be used as directed. We recommend seeking medical attention should any contact result in any noticeable skin irritation or allergic reactions. Similarly users should avoid contact with their eyes or ingesting the solution.

The spray can cover at a maximum distance of 7 metres. This means that you do not need to get too close to the fire to use the product.
Where should I spray at a fire?
Imagine you are spray painting the surface, try to spray directly at the fire and at wherever the fires are. Once an area has been sprayed, the no-burn back action will prevent fire from re-igniting the area while the Fire Terminator solution is present.
What is the spraying duration of the can?
Depending on how hard the spray is pressed, it is estimated to spray for 15 seconds at maximum pressure.
Is the can suitable for young kids or elderly to use?
Yes, if they are strong enough to use the spray can physically, it is safe for them to use it. We recommend strongly that you train all members of your family/residence to make safety their first concern, as well as when and where they should evacuate and call for help.

No, our spray does not require any servicing or maintenance, but we recommend to replace it once the 10 year expiry date has been reached.
Can I keep the spray in my car?
Yes, in fact the spray was designed to be used in most storage conditions including in a car. The spray can be safely stored in temperatures of -16 to +65 degrees Celsius.
Does the spray can use any aerosol chemicals?
The spray can uses compressed air. No chemicals are used.
